Tea Tree Essential Oil. Anti fungal, Anti Bacterial for nail.
Tea Tree essential oil is the main ingredient in most anti fungal nail infection treatments. That's because it works best and has the best rate of treatment. So it makes sense just to try the 'all natural' product, on it's own. This Tea Tree Essential oil is 100% pure and in a 10ml pharmaceutical safe plastic bottle, the price includes postage.
Tea Tree essential oil is a wonderful all natural essential oil. Steam distilled from the Australian Tea Tree leaves, this bottle contains 10ml of 100% pure Tea Tree Essential Oil (also known as Ti Tree and Melaleuca Alternifolia).
The oil is also useful for fighting bacteria, fungi, fungal infections and viruses. It's also wonderful at combating acne and dandruff. So it's a great addition to any first aid kit.
Usually you would add 6 drops to the bath to fight fungal infections across the body. So a little bit goes a long way. You can also add a few drops to a bowl of hot water for helping with infections and acne, etc.
However, to fight a fungal nail infection, you will likely need to apply this neat to the nail. As fungal nail infections can be severe and long lasting.
The nail is a little more hard wearing, but do wash this off, after about 5-10 minutes.
Here are the detailed instructions for this use:
You should first inform your Doctor that you intend to use Essential Oil for your fungal infection, for their approval first. Especially if you are taking other medication, as essential oils can affect other medication.

Apply 1 drip of oil from the bottle onto a cotton wool bud and then rub the bud onto the infected area, or drip the oil directly onto the affected area. We'd advise against using your hands or cross contamination from one nail to the other with the same cotton wool bud. Always use a fresh cotton wool bud.
Wash the oil off the nail after 10 min, if you repeat this process for about 4 weeks, daily, you should see improvements. If you don't or if you suffer a skin reaction to the oil, then wash it off and see your GP about your fungal infection. Never use this oil neat for anything else. There is a leaflet contained which suggests other uses that would involve diluting the oil. Tea Tree is also antiseptic, antiviral and antifungal. So is an oil with diverse uses to keep in your first aid box
We now use new 10ml green glass pharmaceutical bottles.
These bottles are designed for pharmaceutical use, they are impact resistant but care should be taken with glass bottles on hard surfaces. They are designed in Austria and use green natural glass, they are not sprayed. They can be recycled over and over again. The bottles weigh 23.5 grams and all bottles come with 10ml (equiv. of 10 grams) of content. The lids weigh 2.5 grams. So each bottle weighs around 36 grams total.
Usage: For external use only, avoid contact with your eyes. Do not use on children, or when pregnant or while using medication. Keep out of reach of children.
An essential oil should not be used instead of seeing a doctor for medical advice. Never self-prescribe and always ask your doctor first. Do not use on sensitive skin and always do a small test of the oil before use. If an allergic reaction occurs, wash off the oil with soap and water and then seek medical attention.
